Rebecca Pelissero – Life Master

Rebecca Pelissero, Life Master

As a teenager, I learned the fundamentals of Bridge from my father and grandmother. Later in college, I briefly moved on to play Duplicate. Life intervened until I came back to the game in 2012. I began playing in the local Maui clubs where I met my current Bridge partner, Dorsie Glen. Ironically, with the pandemic, a switch to ACBL online play afforded us the opportunity to conveniently participate in the Red, Silver, and Gold tournaments necessary to reach this milestone. I am very grateful to Dorsie and the community of Maui Bridge players who, despite my then rusty skills, welcomed me back into the game, helped me improve, and ultimately reach Life Master.
