The Oregon Trail Regional is (almost) Here!

The Oregon Trail Regional in Vancouver, Washington is almost here. It runs from Tuesday, February 17 through Sunday, February 23 at the Vancouver Washington Hilton. That’s just over the bridge from Portland and very easy to access.

I will remind you I/N folks some reasons why you will want to come to this amazing event!

  • Regionals are different from the games you play at your local club. Yes, this is a big event with lots of excited bridge players. As a less experienced I/N player, you will be amazed and inspired to watch how the Big Kids operate.
  • You will only be competing against other I/N players. Those are folks who have 0-750 master points and are non-Life Masters.
  • If there are enough of you with 0-299 master points, you will have your own special game.
  • There are FREE lessons Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9:00 – 9:45. If you attend these lessons and your Opponents don’t, guess who has the upper hand?!?!
  • As I mentioned last month, we are lucky to have Kevin Kacmarynski as our presenter for the classes. Who is he? He is the guy who will make your bridge playing better!
  • We give away prizes at each session during the weekdays. So if you don’t do well in your bridge game, you can still go away with something wonderful.

Grab your partner and come play lots of great bridge. Earn Gold, Red, Silver and Black master points. If you don’t have a partner, there is a Partnership Desk who will help you find one. Bring your convention card so you and your new partner can figure out what you want to play.

See you in Vancouver!

District 20 I/N Coordinator
