ACBL District 20 Grand National Teams 2024 - 2025

TENTATIVE PLANS SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF D20 CONDITIONS OF CONTEST
this year the d20 Grand National Teams (GNT) will be a hybrid event
  - A one-day swiss or round-robin will qualify teams for the Finals
  - Finals matches will be self-scheduled during the ensuing weeks
  - All events will be played online via BBO from A SELF-CHOSEN VENUE
  - All ACBL D20 members in good standing are eligible to play
  - Teams may consist of 4, 5, or 6 players
  - Flight eligibility (as of the September 2024 masterpoint cycle)
   Open Championship Flight -- Unlimited Masterpoints
   Flight A -- Under 6000 Masterpoints
   Flight B -- Under 3000 Masterpoints
   Flight C -- Non Life Master Under 750 Masterpoints

TENTATIVE COST AND PAYMENT DETAILS:

Table fees in the Qualifying Rounds are $80 per team per session for the Open teams and Flights A and B; $72 per team per session for Flight C.
In the Finals, it’s $80 per team for KO matches for the Open, $64 per team in flight A, $48 per team in flight B and $45 per team in flight C.

NATIONAL FINALS:

The 2025 National GNT Finals are set to take place at the Summer North American Bridge Championships in Philadelphia, PA, on Wednesday, July 23 – Aug 3, 2025.

Advancement From D20 Finals:
Winning teams from the four flights will be eligible to advance from the District Finals to the National Finals. In addition, the 2nd place teams in Flight B & C are eligible when eight or more teams participate in their flight. Travel subsidies may be established by the D20 Board.
