Jamey Skillings – NABC Master

I began playing duplicate bridge in 2020, right before COVID. When bridge playing resumed, I began playing in the Kailua game and occasionally in the Honolulu F2F game. Late last year, I finally began playing in online games as well, both virtual club and robot, and also travelled to Canada to play with my sister. The big challenge in Hawaii is accumulating gold points.

I am grateful for my bridge partners and bridge teachers including the late Pat Brown and Alan Kosansky. Alan was a mentor for me last year. It is so important to help newer players gain knowledge and experience. I am trying to pay it forward with Unit 470 by helping organize lectures and sectional tournament experience for newer/intermediate players.
