When I first started playing bridge in 2018, I had no idea what a challenge it would be.  I had never played bridge, any type of bridge, and our club is full of excellent players. Fortunately, they are also welcoming and generous folks who have encouraged my play over the years.  Persevering is key.

 I want to give a special shout out to Diane Howard.  Over four years ago we earned a smidgeon of silver points.  This is the only reason that I have gained Sectional Master status before my usual partner and spouse, Doug Berg.  Boy is he mad!
