President’s Message – Summer 2025

Summer is upon us! Have you planned time for bridge play, lessons, or perhaps a new role as a volunteer?

I’d like to warmly thank Amy Casanova and Cheryl Haines for their extensive efforts over the last 3 years to move our district communications from the Trumpet to our electronic D20 Declarer newsletter! This was a big task, and they are now ready to pursue other projects.

If you enjoy your monthly district updates, please thank Amy and Cheryl when you next see them for their exceptional work in bringing you district news and compelling player narratives.

We are seeking volunteers to fill their roles. If you have editorial skills, a marketing or journalism background, or a desire to contribute, please contact me (allison.m.n.evans@gmail.com). We’d love to have you join our team.

Summer is also time to qualify to play in the NAPs (North American Pairs) competition later this year! You can qualify at your local club, which allows you to compete in the district finals (online) to earn red and gold points online later this year! Details available on the D20 website, with more information coming soon!

Warmly,

Allison
